Book Details
The Road Less Traveled is a bestselling self-help book that explores the challenges of personal growth, emotional development and meaningful relationships.
Confronting and solving problems can be painful, and many people try to avoid difficulties. However, avoiding problems often creates greater pain and prevents us from growing mentally and spiritually. Drawing heavily on his professional experience as a psychiatrist, Dr M. Scott Peck explains how facing difficulties and accepting the challenges of change can lead to greater self-understanding.
The book explores the nature of loving relationships, including how to recognise genuine compatibility, distinguish dependency from love, develop independence and become one's own person. Peck also discusses how to become a more sensitive and understanding parent.
Thought-provoking and practical, The Road Less Traveled offers insights into personal responsibility, emotional maturity, love and spiritual growth, making it a valuable guide for readers seeking meaningful and lasting change.
