An edge of the seat thriller, the novel pits a crack CBI team led by ace investigator Waseem Khan against India's brainiest conman, Ajay, whose gang is responsible for a series of outrageous robberies that have been carried out across the country. Khan knows it isn't going to be easy outsmarting Ajay, once a passionate aspirant to a police job, who is now vicious in his hatred of the force. He also knows he has no option but to chase the gang down before it can cause any further damage. Already, business tycoons and cinema stars and prominent politicians have been duped of lakhs of rupees and the police are under fire from all quarters. As Khan prepares his final master plan, the action moves to a well known jewellery store at the Opera House in South Mumbai. Khan is determined that things will turn out differently on his watch.
