About the Author: Çi?dem has traveled the world, living in places like Costa Rica and Ghana before heading to the USA for college. There, she studied psychology and fell in love with Latin American literature. After working in advertising in New York, she moved back to Turkey and started working as a lyricist and translator. Now, you can find her writing charming stories, spending time with her children, and concocting new culinary delights.
About the Illustrator:Burcu studied Communication Design, Literature, and the Italian language, blending her love for words and visuals. Her illustrations have been showcased at the 50th Bratislava Illustration Biennial and in exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. She illustrates children’s books, edits the literary magazine Sözcükler, and works as a freelance translator. Burcu loves drawing people out of pineapples, and calls herself an ‘elephant-like cat’.
