Description
S.I.P. stands for Systematic Investment Plan, which is essentially a short form for a planned and systematic method of investing. In simple terms, it means an orderly investment plan. SIPs are widely used in mutual funds, a type of collective investment also known as mutual fund schemes, where a group of investors pool their money to invest in stocks or securities. In an SIP, a fixed amount is invested at regular intervals—such as every month, every three months, or every six months—into a mutual fund. Among all the investment systems developed worldwide, SIP is considered the safest, simplest, and most profitable system for investing.
