New Science In Everyday Life - 8

This edition of the New Science in Everyday Life series, comprising eight books for classes 1 to 8, conforms fully to the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023 and facilitates the shift from rote learning to skill-building. Suitable content and features have also been tagged using the following skill icons: 21st century skills, scientific skills, experiential learning, arts integration, life skills and values, SDGs, and India connect. The books in this series follow the constructivist approach where children are encouraged to construct their own knowledge through interactions with their surroundings. The contents of each book are also mapped to the learning outcomes of each chapter. This edition also aims to break the boundaries between subjects so that learning is not happening in silos but is more holistic and complete.
