Neeti Shatak

The Niti Shatak is one of the three famous Shataks of Bhart?hari, collectively known as the Shatakatraya. It contains one hundred verses focused on ethics and moral conduct. In the Niti Shatak, Bhart?hari compiled verses on conduct based on his personal experiences and observations of societal behavior. On one hand, he criticizes ignorance, greed, wealth obsession, wickedness, and ego, while on the other, he praises qualities such as knowledge, virtue, generosity, self-respect, patience, and truthfulness.
