After the death of his second wife, Shailesh wishes to bring back his first wife, to whom he was married at the age of eighteen. When he went abroad for his studies, his father had sent his wife back to her parental home.
Since Shailesh wanted to marry Bhupendra Babu’s daughter, his friends often teased him that he should bring his first wife back. Troubled by this, he finally calls her. Usha returns and dutifully takes on her responsibilities.
However, conflicts arise between Usha and Shailesh’s younger sister Vibha regarding the upbringing of Shailesh’s son, Somendra. Vibha’s husband, Kshetramohan, and their sister-in-law both support Usha.
After Usha leaves once again, Shailesh turns to the company of sages, which deeply worries his sister. Eventually, Usha returns, restoring peace and putting an end to the turmoil.
