Varsha Seshan, the author behind this delightful story, is a writer of lists, emails, and notes to herself—and, of course, children’s books. Based in Pune, she loves windy, rainy days filled with magic and possibility. Her books have been shortlisted for the AG Bangalore Literature Festival Prize for Children’s Fiction, the Neev Book Award, the Singapore Book Award, and the Scholastic Asian Book Award. Varsha also conducts online book clubs and writing programs for children aged seven to fourteen. A trained classical dancer with over thirty years of experience in Bharatanatyam, she has performed extensively in India and abroad.
