Billy Bunter's Double

The sixteenth book in the famous Cassell series sees the fat Owl's cousin, Walter Gilbert Bunter. Wally, Billy's poor relation, who worked in an office was identical in appearance to his relation Billy. But Wally couldn't be more different in every way. His eyesight was keen, and he didn't need spectacles. He was a Latin scholar, a first-rate boxer, cricketer and athlete with a sunny temperament. Lots of double trouble ensues when Wally is mistaken for Bunter while the latter is away.

This was to be master illustrator R.J. MacDonald's last book, he passed away in 1954 and the rest of the books were illustrated by C.H. Chapman, the original Magnet artist who first put Bunter in his famous check trousers.
