Billy Bunter's Barring Out

When Bob Cherry, one of the most popular members of the Remove, was sentenced to expulsion for something he had not done, naturally the other fellows decided to stick by him. It was a shock to Mr. Quelch to find his authority flouted by the refusal of the Remove to hand Bob over. At the suggestion of Billy Bunter, they barred themselves in, and the masters out.

It was not long, of course, before Bunter began to get hungry and expeditions for food were necessary. Mr. Quelch, not being disposed to wait for capitulation, took active measures to secure it. His efforts, and the resulting reprisals, provide many incidents to delight the followers of Frank Richards, who will find him in his usual excellent form.
