Alonzo Todd is befriended by an old inventor who gives him a potion to make him super strong. Alonzo starts his self-appointed task of "reforming" the Remove and dictating terms. Bunter succeeds in stealing Alonzo's potion and for a short time he becomes the bully of the Remove. First Alonzo and then Bunter are the new strong men taking advantage of their elixir. Bunter in particular loves it and gets back at every one of those who have crossed his path. For good measure he also wipes the floor with the chums of the Remove, burly Fifth-Former Coker and even the almighty Sixth Formers. One of the favourite stories from the annals of Greyfriars.
