Billy Bunter of Greyfriars School

For some reason inexplicable to Bunter, his form-master Quelch has described Bunter as poor in class, slack at games, untruthful and a pilferer of tuck. Mr. Bunter therefore has decided to take his son out of school and provide him instead with a job at his office. Unless... Bunter can turn things around with a good report. He has the remainder of the term to make amends.

Bunter does his best, but he does not help his cause by snaffling Coker's hamper. Or by dodging a cricket match Mr. Quelch has especially given him leave to play in. Finally, realising that his goose is cooked, Bunter decides on one last act of revenge on his unjust and uncaring beak. So will Bunter be sent home or will fate play a hand in keeping him on at Greyfriars school?
