In the 15th and 16th century , erstwhile Gaur was under the reign of Sultan Hussain Shah. The Bengali Hindu society in Gaur was marred by morbid caste distinctions branding people as ‘untouchables.’ In such abysmal times, was born a wondrous soul. Repulsed by these divisive practices, he was bent on overcoming caste barriers and uniting mankind through the power of compassion, kindness and love. He was not cut out for domestic life so he left home. First stop was Nilachal (in modern day Orissa). Will he be able to spread the message of brotherhood across India?
