Description
Book Overview
“Power and Prediction” explores how artificial intelligence—by making prediction cheaper, better, and more ubiquitous—is transforming the way decisions are made in business, policy, and society. The authors show that as machines take over the prediction part, the focus shifts to judgment, system design, and power dynamics. This book offers frameworks for understanding the disruptive meanings of prediction in interdependent systems, why some industries are poised to gain hugely, others to lose, and how organizations can prepare for what the authors call “the Between Times.”
